Shop thoughtfully made everyday goods that connect our local community to women building new futures in Kenya.
Grocery bags, yoga straps, and cards handcrafted by Neema Project students in Kitale, Kenya, will be on display during this week-long pop-in. A portion of every purchase is set aside for the student who made it—helping her build savings to launch a business after graduation.
Neema is led by Executive Director Gaëlle Beltran-Grémaud, a Philadelphia-area resident of over 15 years. Her leadership bridges local values with global impact grounded in dignity, integrity, and partnership. Every item in this pop-in reflects that connection: practical goods made with care, supporting women as they move toward independence and long-term stability.
Neema Project exists to serve and equip vulnerable young women in rural Kenya through skills training, counseling, and discipleship. Many students arrive after being forced to leave school due to extreme poverty, often facing limited and unsafe paths forward. Through hands-on training and holistic support, Neema helps women develop marketable skills, restore confidence, and create sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families.
