Our mission is to shift people’s perceptions of sustainability from bland and inconvenient to inspiring and necessary.
Site Content Goals
In our experience, we have learned that the best way to do this is by sharing knowledge, thus limiting the amount of individual research required. Typically, once people hear about the effects their waste is having on the world, they start to see their surroundings differently and start making big changes.
We are creating a thorough list of Main Line drop-off sites to help you recycle the items that aren’t allowed in the township’s collection bin—things like plastic bags, wrappers, batteries, light bulbs, etc.
Our community is full of eco-friendly events that promote sustainability, and we want to make sure that you know about them. If you notice we are missing an event, please let us know!
We will continue to highlight local businesses, services, and organizations that are working toward sustainability so that you can use your purchasing power to help them grow. If you know of a local source that we should include, please submit them.
Your thoughts and needs are important to us! We want to know what we can do to make your low-waste lifestyle as easy and rewarding as possible.
As we continue on our zero waste adventures, we will be trying out new products and procedures. We will share our thoughts and suggestions along the way.
Buying package-free food doesn’t mean that you have to eat flavor-free meals. We will be sharing our favorite zero waste recipes, from snacks and treats to dinners and pantry staples.
