Extend the life of used sneakers through reuse and recycling while helping raise money for a local community organization.

Most people throw away their used sneakers every 125-200 days without ever thinking about recycling. Since sneakers are manufactured with materials that are not biodegradable, they remain in landfills or are incinerated, which leads to toxic chemicals in our air and soil.

Recycling and reusing sneakers keeps the shoes out of landfills, reduces the need for manufacturing new ones, and supports a growing circular economy. Plus, this limited-time collection helps raise funds for B3 Fearless Foundation.

What Happens to the Waste

All footwear received through the GotSneakers recycling program is sorted and evaluated by professionally trained staff to determine quantity, style, condition, measurement, and brand. The sort team processes one (1) bag at a time and physically touches every single pair, then inputs the quantity, style, condition, measurement, and brand data into their proprietary operating system. Approximately 90% of all footwear received through this sneaker recycling program is reusable and resaleable, while 10% is considered unusable and recyclable.
