Since 2001, The Home Depot has partnered with Call2Recycle, a nonprofit battery stewardship program to recycle rechargeable batteries that have lost their ability to recharge.

  • dry-cell batteries up to 11lbs per battery—nickel cadmium (Ni-Cd), lithium ion (Li-Ion), small sealed lead acid (SSLA/Pb), nickel metal hydride (Ni-MH), nickel zinc (Ni-ZN)
• Plastic shopping bags
• Cardboard

Not Accepted

• Damaged or recalled batteries
• Single-use batteries
• E-bike batteries
• Incandescent light bulbs
• Halogen light bulbs
