Some of the best ideas start small—in a bedroom, at a neighborhood lemonade stand, or at a library lecture. SHIFT Greenhouse exists to give those ideas a little more room to grow.
Greenhouse is SHIFT’s youth entrepreneur program, created to encourage, mentor, and celebrate young makers in our community. Through the program, we invite young people to share their original work in a real retail setting, experiencing firsthand what it feels like to bring an idea to life, connect with customers, and see their creativity valued by the world around them.
For young entrepreneurs, Greenhouse is a chance to build real confidence in a supportive, low-stakes environment: to price their work, share their story, and discover what it means to be part of a community of makers.
For our community, it’s an opportunity to shop with intention and invest in the next generation. Every purchase is a small act of encouragement that a young person will remember for a long time.
