Deaver Wellness Farm is a half-acre farm located on the grounds of Lankenau Medical Center.
The farm provides healthy-eating education and fresh food access for area students, hospital patients, and medical residents. The farm is also a relaxing retreat from the hospital, open to the public and to patients, employees and visitors.
The farm produces more than 5,000 pounds of organically grown produce per year, donated to patients free of charge to support healthy eating habits and provide fresh food for those who don’t have access to it. The produce is also used in cooking classes at the hospital and pop-up nutrition lessons in waiting rooms.
