Help a local startup collect inventory for its innovative circular business model.
Unless Kids just launched in Philadelphia, but they’re hoping to extend to the Main Line in the future. As they continue to grow, the company is collecting toys your family no longer needs post-holidays as you start your spring cleaning. Not only will this help them build out inventory, but if you scan the QR code at the time of drop off to sign up for their mailing list, they’ll get in touch when they expand and offer 3 months free membership with Unless Kids to get you started as a thanks for providing toys!
This collection is paired with a reading by local children’s author Susan Brennan as she shares her book, An Island of Cherished Things. The fable is a metaphor for the global depletion of natural resources and ecosystem collapse, creating questions and awareness about the fate of what we discard, including our excess of infrequently repurposed plastic toys.
