Pennsylvania Resources Council returns to Haverford Township with its Traveling Glass Bin program.
Make sure your glass is getting properly recycled with PRC’s self-serve collection.
Look for the “big blue bin,” which is a roofed CAP Glass bin. Glass should be gently deposited into the bin loosely. Consider collecting your glass in reusable bins instead of plastic bags.
Accepted Items
- Glass bottles, jugs + jars
- all colors, rinsed prior to drop
- lids + labels accepted
Not Accepted
- Household glassware
- i.e. glass dishes, drinkware, vases, pitchers, cookware + decor
- Boxes + bags used to transport the glass to the bin
