Support our shop and minimize your waste by donating glass jars!
While we can’t take every glass jar, we are able to give new life to a few specific ones that can be sanitized and reused in the shop.
Right now, we are specifically hoping to collect salsa and peanut butter jars; but we’re happy to take any that are shown in the graphic below.
Accepted Items
- Clean, dry glass jars + bottles
- wine bottles: starborouh, nobilo + cupcake brands
- kombucha bottles: any size synergy + health-ade brands
- mason jars: wide + regular mouth
- apple sauce jars: 24 oz
- peanut butter jars w/ ribbed bottom: 16 oz
- salsa jars: 15.5 oz w/ straight sides
- bonne maman jars: all sizes
- oui yogurt jars
- Delabeled
- while not required, this is a huge help for us
- Lids can be left on
- we have ways to responsibly divert them through local recycling initiatives
Not Accepted
- Broken, cracked glass
- Wet, moldy, or dirty glass
- Jars + bottles that are not listed in the graphic
- those can be recycled at the Havertown CREC glass bin
