Browse vibrant greeting cards made from original abstract paintings.

In the week leading up to Mother’s Day, the shop will feature Rae Frontino’s hand-cut greeting cards created from her watercolor abstract landscapes. Instead of letting extra paintings go to waste, Rae transforms them into small works of art that can live on as bookmarks, mini paintings, or collage materials. It’s a thoughtful way to pair your message with a piece of art that can continue to be enjoyed long after the card is opened.

About the Vendor

Rae Frontino is a Philadelphia-based abstract painter, designer, and pattern maker with a BFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. After more than a decade living and working in New York, she moved to Northwest Philadelphia to be closer to family and continue developing her studio practice. Her watercolor landscapes emerge through a process rooted in automatism, allowing instinct and the unconscious mind to guide each painting’s form and emotion.

While abstract painting remains at the center of her work, Rae also explores illustration, digital art, and surface pattern design. Her greeting cards are created from paintings that didn’t make the final cut of a series, giving these colorful fragments a second life as small, shareable artworks. When she’s not in the studio, Rae enjoys hiking, studying nutrition, making herbal infusions, cooking, and spending time with loved ones.
