White Dog Cafe was created to support the surrounding communities and grow the local economy that includes farmers, cheesemongers, fishermen, brewers, artisans, and bakers. With a passion for creating inspiring flavorful dishes, Chefs Zach Grainda and Mike Selser change the menus monthly to ensure they are using the freshest local and seasonal ingredients available. The restaurant features an all American wine list, local brews, seasonal specialty cocktails, and mocktails to perfectly complement your meal.

Two large iron dogs greet you outdoors with cafe tables and colorful window boxes at the Haverford location. The Den and Bar feature warm wood-paneled millwork that is welcoming with a masculine, vintage charm. Monumental oil paintings of regal dogs flank the walls with a back lit bar creating a warm glow throughout the space. The Kitchen is reminiscent of a sophisticated Pennsylvania farmhouse kitchen with a whimsical color palette and combination of light millwork detailing, furniture and bright fabrics that are both playful and fanciful with vintage colander lighting. Local Philadelphia artist, Jay McClellan was commissioned to accent this space with bold abstract dog portraits. The Living Room walls are clad with tea stained mirrors and millwork styled to mimic a dramatic residential living room with plush comfortable seating, suspended lighting with large three dimensional carved dog busts line the walls and stand guard over guests.
