Mend and mingle while learning the basic stitches required for common clothing repairs.
Is your favorite shirt missing a button? Did you accidentally rip a seam? Do you have a great thrifted find that needs a hem? Bring along your piece of clothing to find out if the repair is an easy DIY, or if it requires a bit more skill.
Needles, thread, and fabric scraps will be available to practice your new skills during the event. However, if you have specific supplies you would like to bring, feel free! As a reminder, this workshop is for hand sewing.
For more advanced mending, bring your garments to the Freedom Machine Mending Station Pop-Up occurring the weekend of March 21-22.
Questions about a potential repair? Just email Sarah at hello@freedommachine.co to discuss!
Reserve your space using the “Register Online” button above. Space is limited.
