The election might be over, but you can still campaign for a greener world by recycling your yard signs.
Montgomery County partners with the Montgomery County Democratic and Republican Committees and participating municipalities to recycle plastic campaign signs and metal stands from each year’s election.
See the flyer (below) for a list of locations with addresses for dropping off campaign signs after the general election. If you have campaign signs from the primary election, you may drop them off at the assigned locations in November.
Please note: This program does not seek to take campaign sign clean up responsibilities away from prospective candidates. Instead, this program hopes to connect candidates and residents with drop off points so that signs can be recycled instead of thrown in the trash.
