Pumpkin Composting Drop-Off
Through December 6, 2023
Various Locations
Mother Compost is making it easy to responsibly dispose of your jack-o-lanterns and fall pumpkin decor.
About 1.9 billion pounds of pumpkins are grown each year in the US. Many of them are carved, decorated, and set on porches for Halloween. A few days after Halloween they are thrown in the trash.
One of the best ways to dispose of your pumpkin is through composting. It’s a sustainable, nutrient-rich method that can help enrich soil. Learn about the closest pumpkin bin near you!
